Strength & Conditioning in Gardner, KS
The Beginner Barbell program is where our athletes lay their foundation for future success in our program. In this levelized program, athletes will work at their own pace through four separate training phases before earning the chance to join our team weightlifting program. Each phase emphasizes joint stability and range of motion and requires each athlete to display proficiency in different areas before moving on to the next development phase. Athletes will learn the procedures and processes of training, the fundamentals of proper movement, and develop a love for training as they build confidence and independence in their training.
The Beginner Barbell program is for all ages. All prospective athletes are required to come in for an initial screening in order to determine placement in the program. Young athletes may be referred to our summer program if their readiness is in question.
